Giving up your cat/kitten is never an easy decision. From moving home and relationship break-ups to changes in the family and even bereavements, there are many reasons why owners have to re-home their cat/kitten. While some situations are unavoidable, there are some circumstances where you're just no longer able to keep your feline friend. No matter how desperate you are, please don’t dump or abandon your pet or even advertise them for free on social media. This can be traumatic for your cat/kitten and can even be dangerous. We are only a small rescue, but we will do everything we can to help and nurture each cat and kitten that comes into our care. This however, doesn’t mean that because you want to go on holiday that the cat can be signed back into our care, or that your having a baby. All these thoughts and processes should be carried out before thinking of adopting any animal. Through his commitment we have helped over 250 cats in our first six months. He has worked ceaselessly to help other cat owners during the pandemic, as well as holding down a day job and working with partner rescues around Kent. The man’s energy is as boundless as his enthusiasm is infectious. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries.
